OMG..where would one start to even think of those special events but I guess our special little class of kids that bonded together and the sports that I was involved in. We set a record at the Jaycee Relays for the 2 mile(me, Jim Moore and Bob Lane) which stood for many years along with almost upsetting Missoula basketball team which was the # 2 team in the USA that year and undefeated. One classic memory would be being in Russian class and being taught by Kathleen Ramey...what an interesting woman and our Russian Club parties at Lenhart's smoking Tareytons!!

What have you been up to:

I retired from the cement business July 1, 2012 after 41 years. I was the Sr VP for CalPortland based in LA. I commuted from Seattle to my office in LA every week for 9 years and actally loved it. Traveled extensively throughout Asia and Europe on cement business for the company. Purchased a winter home in Phoenix July 2011 and have had a so much fun getting it furnished and attending to the kids/grandkids joining several times a year. I have always wanted to live in the desert when I retired and so it is a dream come true and one I totally embrace and love each sunny day that I am not in Seattle during the winter months!!! Staying in Phoenix 6 months a year and the balance in Seattle with side trips to Helena and Sacramento whenever possible.

What directions are you taking with your life now?

Not traveling or getting on an airplane...love to just drive and see America from the ground rather than from the air. I want to see most of the National Parks in the western US and take care of the growth of my grandchildren.
