Hi Jeri, thanx for the BD wishes. LInza and I are both healthy and active, but try to be careful. We just had 102 degree temperature and are fortunate to have central A/C in our home; nobody needed air conditioning in this area when we moved here in 1987. The temperatures are definitely changing. Our relatives in California are really suffering-Linza's uncle was lucky to escape the Camp Fire that destroyed Paradise. The reason I mention the temperature is that I worked in Saudi Arabia and got to know many technicians and health care workers from the Philippines. I found them to be some of the most competent, hardworking, friendly and happy people I have ever encountered. Too bad, many have to work abroad.

Also, in my consulting work, I had to deal with many nurses and nurses aids from the Philippines, and found them very competent and some of the most helpful caregivers.

Hi Brian, thanx for the Birthday wish. Linza and I are both staying healthy and busy. We are having a very nice summer with moderate temperatures. We do have central air in our house but only had it running a few days this year. We were in New Orleans in January but had to cancel a trip to one of my cousin's son's wedding in Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany. We skype a lot with our relatives in Europe; unfortunately, we feel our traveling days may be done. I did get to go to a family reunion (about 300 people) in Romania with my cousins and Linza and I visited her Grandmothers house on Brick Lane in old London, so we are not complaining. Stay healthy!
